… become a member of Hilltown CDC!
Since
1984, Hilltown CDC has
relied on local participation, control and ownership of the economic
development process to help improve the quality of life for Western
Massachusetts Hilltown residents while
preserving the
rural character of our area. As a
community-based organization we rely on people with a stake in our
towns -- either
as residents, business owners or employees -- to help determine,
support and
sustain our efforts.
Please help us to do our
work by becoming a Hilltown CDC member. Members elect our volunteer
Board of
Directors, participate in our annual meeting each spring, help develop
and
refine our programs, volunteer on our committees and spread the word
about the
Hilltown CDC’s services.
Membership
contributions allow Hilltown CDC to work on important projects and
services
which may not be eligible for public funds or for which private grants
are not
available. These
include working with
regional agencies and local groups to help bring high-speed internet
service to
the hilltowns, acquiring and improving real estate for affordable
housing, and
providing vital community services such as the Hilltown Elder Network
(HEN)
program. Your
support also provides
“seed” money to help explore and develop new
solutions to community needs.
Membership is open to all
persons 18 years or older who reside or work in our target area. Annual
membership is $15
for individuals and $25 for
businesses. No one is denied membership due to inability to
pay and we
gratefully accept donations in any amount to support the
HCDC's
work. All dues and donations are fully
tax-deductible. Hilltown
CDC is a private, non-profit tax-exempt organization.
We do not give out our mailing lists or
other
information.
Print and complete our membership
form and mail it in with your check (this way your entire
donation goes to
the Hilltown CDC). Or
you may contact us
at (413) 296-4536 or staff@hilltowncdc.org
to pay by credit card,
or ask any questions.
Thank You for
Supporting Hilltown CDC & Your Community!
