Community Development Strategy Meetings

Residents are invited to attend a meeting to review and revise the towns Community Development Strategy (CDS), which is used in part to establish goals and priorities for various town activities.  Examples of these municipal goal categories are Affordable Housing, Transportation, Land Use, Natural Resources and Health and Human Services.  The CDS is also a required document for a town’s eligibility for participation in the yearly submission of the Community Development Block Grant.  In the recent past, the grant has provided assistance to low-moderate income residents with the following type of services: housing rehabilitation, elder services – both in home chore assistance and medical checks -, food pantry and childcare assistance.    Community input and participation is part of life in the hilltowns. Come share your thoughts and ideas.

Please consider attending the meeting in your town:

Goshen: Tuesday, July 5th at 6:45 p.m., Town Offices

Worthington: Tuesday July 12th at 7:30 p.m., Town Offices
