Community Facilities

Hilltown CDC works with a wide range of community groups and with local municipalities. This program helps construct buildings and infrastructure by identifying  project needs and obtaining  project funding. Hilltown CDC also provides project management services for large and small projects. These may include procuring design services, directing building committees, conducting environmental reviews, procuring contractors, managing construction and completing the project close-out. Recent projects include:

  • Construction of the Plainfield Public Safety Building. 
  • Procurement of a new 2008 Road Rescue ambulance for the Town of Plainfield. 
  • Replaced roofs and windows at Hillside Terrace senior housing facility in Cummington. The project was completed under budget, and the remaining funds were used to replace exterior doors with new energy star rated insulated doors. 
  • Secured funding from the CDBG Program for the construction of a new handicapped accessible bathroom at the Westhampton Town Hall.
