The Hilltown Food Pantry has been serving the northern Hampshire County Hilltowns since 1990.

Located in Goshen, the Pantry is a program of the Northampton Survival Center, and serves eligible residents of Chesterfield, Cummington, Middlefield, Peru, Plainfield, Goshen, Haydenville, Huntington, Westhampton, Williamsburg, and Worthington.

The Pantry is located at 40 Main Street in Goshen, at the rear entrance to the Goshen Town Offices building.

From that location, over 350 individuals, representing over 150 families, share in the monthly distribution of emergency supplemental foods. Distributions take place every Wednesday from 1 – 3 pm, with extended hours from 1 – 6 pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

This much needed and heavily utilized program is included within Hilltown CDC’s annual CDBG grant applications as a social service activity.

Directions

The Hilltown Pantry is located in Goshen on Route 9, in the back of the Town Office Building. The entrance is to the rear left of the building. Volunteers are there to assist you in loading your groceries into your car.

From Cummington & points North:

Follow Route 9 Southbound. The Town Office Building is white with a large steeple, and will be on your left.

From Williamsburg & points South:

Follow Route 9 Northbound. The Town Office Building is white with a large steeple, and will be on your right.

 
The Pantry is located behind the town office building (entrance is on the left). Volunteers are available to assist with loading groceries into your car.
