Joan Griswold

Joan Griswold is a passionate and accomplished director of health promotion and programming, with proven success in both developing and implementing healthcare improvement programs in organizations with locations nationwide. She is working with the Hilltowns to create walking maps to encourage more physical activity, teaches exercise classes for several of the Hilltown Council on Aging programs, supports the Mobile Market Program and works with the Hilltown Business Directory program.

She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, and holds a degree in Human Performance and Wellness. Joan also holds several certifications, from the Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research as Health Promotion Director, and from the American Council on Exercise as a group exercise instructor, Personal Trainer and Health Coach. She is a certified American Heart Association instructor of CPR-First Aid. Joan is Manager Level Serv Safe certified. She is also recognized as Faculty with the Wellness Council of America.

 Joan lives in Goshen with her husband and dog. She is an avid runner, cyclist, hiker and foodie. She loves to spend all the time she can enjoying the great outdoors!
