Hilltown CDC received new funding for the FY20 Housing Rehab Program for the towns of Chesterfield, Cummington, Goshen, Peru, Plainfield, Williamsburg and Worthington, and we are currently applying for the FY21 grant that may also include Westhampton. Income eligible homeowners who live in these towns are encouraged to apply now if you need help with your housing repairs.

The Housing Rehab Program is designed to address health and safety hazards such as:

  • Siding

  • Roofs and Chimneys

  • Windows and Doors

  • Floor Joists,

  • Flooring Insulation,

  • Walls,

  • Ceilings

  • Handicap Accessibility

  • Septic Systems and Sewer Tie-ins

  • Plumbing and Electrical Updates

  • Wells, Pumps, and Hot Water Tanks

  • Porches, Decks, and Stairs

  • Lead Paint Removal

  • Asbestos Removal
